My iPod died

Hopefully it is software problem and not the hardware problem because if it is hardware... The result might not be good. I have a couple of dents on the metal of my iPod so I am affraid they do not want to warranty it.

all it is displaying now is...

Hopefully when I go back and plug in it will be alright.

Updates : I plugged it back to my machine but still the sad face comes out. It is definitely hardware problem so I took it to service centre this morning near PJ. Trust it is in a better hands now... with no problem.
