Give your son. NOT MUGS

Ah. Thankfully I have recover much from the fever attack, and lost much energy for Christmas. To start off, this Christmas is really in a bad position of the week. And everything is so rushy. I had a short and brief talk with a Pastor N about thoughtless gift today. Is yours thoughtless?

Much as we liked to give gifts, we must remember why we do that. It is a symbol of God giving Jesus to you. His 'precious' very precious Son. And here we are shopping out of convenience, reaching for the racks of mugs.

I'd rather not have a present then of mugs or any of this convenient gifts. This year's gift exchange was indeed a lil better with more soft toys around. Yet in the midst of all that you'll find photo-frames, cheap toys, Christmas ornaments and a hair gel. Nice? NO. thoughtless? YES.

My gift I brought this year wasn't really excellent compare to what I usually give. I figure if they want to give useless stuff why should I overly spend? I should save it for someone who perhaps needs it... Yet with that I still give much thoughts about it. I say this not to brag, but I hope this goes out to you that you could pick up some stuff.

The fact I only ate few bites the days when I was bed-ridden I find myself pretty out of breath while shopping. I went round and round and decided I should stop somewhere. I ended up buying something that is both cute, branded and useful. I hope that gift is useful somehow.

Truth is, if you don't know what what to give, don't give. Honestly I dunno where I put some of the gifts. Most likely they are collecting dust in my messy room. If that's not shocking to you, I've actually have gifts that aren't open last year. perfect wrapped condition that I could use it to give out. Guess what are they? yeap. MUGS.

Stop mugging Christmas.

Blessed Christmas all

The Apartment

The Apartment is the 9th restaurant I went to in the Curve. I am not rich. Just that every celebration we eat something nice. This time however it was here decision because its her treat. It's a Christmas Meal.

So I get a chance to stress test my camera. I know I know. Compact camera is bad. What more cybershot right? WRONG! I did some pretty nice shots. Of course I am trying to make it into a pro-camera, by being a pro rather than letting camera to be the pro. Anyway, here are the photos.

Just loving the lights

I think that's pretty original, but it is cheapo.

That's our appetizer

Her meal

My meal

She thinks I haven't had enough so this was the last course

We went for movie after the meal and we watched He is Legend and to be honest, Watch it. But be prepared to feel all lonely after the movie. It is saddening. I think it is the saddest after Pursuit of Hapyness

Anyway, one for the album!

There all done by John's little green the cheap lousy cybershot toy compact camera

The Ornaments are Up

While One U may have the biggest drummer boy, The Curve having snow falling, KLCC still holds the title of the tallest tree in Malaysia, I did my own Christmas DECO.

So what you think? I haven't finish as I am quite not that satisfied with the layout and the design as yet.

So right now, I'll leave you with this while I take a break at Taiping for the next 3 days. Speaking of which I have not packed as I just got home from work.

Well. Stay Put for this BLOG. I got some exciting Christmas Plan up my sleeves. ;)

Comment Away! I mean give me cookie please?

Poor boy's Christmas

I am so not in the mood for Christmas this year. Being having celebrated Christmas for 22 years, It gets world-lier every year. Jingles, Frosty, Santarina, Candy of course presents. Everyone on the street get hyped up for Christmas every year. Like it or not we feel the dying Christmas as Christians every year. Most church would have Mary and Joseph skit or any rendition of it. That is just doing the same routine. I guess my church is going to get the same deco up again pretty soon.

But I decided to download some Christmas music to cheer me up. Of course I was looking for carols. But singing the same song for 22 years ain't exactly fresh. And when I search and search. I saw Jars of Clay - Christmas Song. Got it on my iPod and just play it. The 1st track was instrumental and straight away I got the chills. Because it is very 'minor mood' and the rest of the track should I say WEIRD if you're not use to Jars of Clay.

Listening to it I feel re-energize for Christmas. Because the tunes can't sing to it (like normal carols) I can only listen. And of course JoC is lyrical. It is not all their song though. But they sang a lot of olden day carols song about Christmas. Way before jingle bells or any of the humans today are alive (probably). The focus is indeed mainly on Jesus.

But another part of it focuses on US the human. What are we giving to God? A few song sang about a poor boy as I am, what can I give?

"If I was a shepherd, I would bring a Lamb, If I were a wise man, I would do my part. What can I give him? my heart."

Christmas Came Early

Well, I had a boring unproductive day today... So much for procrastination can't help it, That time of the month... Haha and a trip to the othodentist brought me some non-good news "Come back in another 3 weeks" as usual. But as a sign of hope he took out 2 back metal brackets and insist that I can't keep em :(

That's okay, spent over 30 minutes at the car wash and came home tired, What you'd expect. Long day of work (right) Well anyway I saw a parcel on my desk and can't help but wonder what it is. Well well? Ah that reminds me that I have to send a copy of the DVD to my friend in the states. Like my title says, Christmas came early this year, It is

TADA!!!!

okok I know I know you're gonna fry me for this, but he sent it over and insist that I shouldn't pay for a penny of it. GEE man, I don't know how to accept this, plus I don't know him that well. Of course he is kinda good friend with my girlfriend, but still hmm

Thanks PETER! you're a blessing in the Kingdom of God!!

Edit : Oh I bought Live and in the can! I'll save the satellite CD for next month as I don't have to pay for Church camp next month, but then again I am dry =( plus plus I want a camera... hmm as you can see the Motorola camera is not even as good as Christine's or Eva's 850i SO I WANT 30 megapixel camera to beat them. (okok i'll go to bed now)
